I am unable to reach ANY of Venture Online's servers right now. Am I the only one experiencing this or are they really down?

I can reach venturesonline.com...

Looks down to me. Bummer. Too bad that in order to get to their Help Desk I need to get to their site. :crap:

Welp, as soon as I posted that, their sites came back up. Must be sporadic.

VenturesOnline appears to be up again now. At any rate, I think people should wait for a reasonable amount of time and also do a traceroute before reporting it here. :)

At least give it a few minutes or so. :)

I'm a VO customer and I haven't noticed my sites going down. Hope it was only temporary.

If you're a VO customer ... you should be receiving emails about updating DNS and their changes in progress ...

I've received a couple emails from them in the last week or so. One was to change DNS, and the other was a bio about their team ...

Aussie Bob and avara, once I found out VO was down, I waited 30 minutes to see if they came back up. They didn't, and traceroutes showed "destination unreachable" for all of the VO sites that I knew about. And their voinfo.net site didn't say anything about work being done last night. So there. :)

even we do have servers with them...we never faced this...and even one day our HDD got crashed and they replaced that with mirror disk immediatly..we never faced any problems with them...infact their support is too good...no...damn good....theres no need to think abt the support if u choose them...those guys are pretty good...

I had my server watch program on all day and night and it never burped. Also checking e-mail throughout the day and evening, and there were no errors. So, no downtime from here.

Must have been some 3rd party routing issues, which would also explain the destination unreachable result on the trace. In those instances, a person has to trace by IP.

It was down for me for at least 20 minutes. Since even their main site was down I couldn't contact their support staff. That is why I posted, to ask others if they're seeing the same thing or was it just me.
