hi all, wondering if anyone can help me out recently i downloaded a free website template which is in photoshop format and i have the text almost reaching the bottom of the template and so would like to extend the width & height of the template in photoshop. anyone help?

go to Image > Canvas Size and then adjust it there. Make the image come from the top so that the extra sizing is added to the bottom, if you get what I mean.. :)

Yeah noobies, Lucifer pretty much explained it for you. However, I whipped up a simple GIF that'll explain it pictorally just in case you're having further difficulties.

1. Make sure the "height" is selected. Make it as large as you desire. The "anchor" point you choose on the bottom of the window as Lucifer said should be selected OPPOSITE of where you want to expand.

2. Whatever your selected background color is, that's what color you're going to get.
