thier website image does not potray the unbelievable crap service you will endure in reality.
we lost good customers due to hostnexus servers breaking down all the time.
unscheduled maintenace
complete lack of customer support.
I would not like any one else to loose business through dealing with this company.
get a better host

Aorozco 03-10-2006, 06:32 PM Normally they are very good and i have one reseller in plesk and another in cpanel.
SOmething happen one hour ago, all my sites with them are down now, first problem in near a year.

In CPanel are for me the second more trustable server i had, better than cyberwurx and other "alleged" better.
I Stay with them =P
ferguslogic 03-10-2006, 06:58 PM i absolutely hate this company. Your site will be down hours at a time in just a few months. They are always down and always have an excuse for it. Power outage, upload provider, server trouble..it just never ends

ferguslogic 03-10-2006, 07:07 PM we have our own dedicated server down and we are never down and never have any problems. But I still get emails all the time from hostnexus talking about how they are down again...I laugh from the safety of my dedicated server. :)

NexDog 03-11-2006, 03:15 AM HostNexus is fine. The owner of 853realestate.com was kicked out because we found some very disturbing sexual material on some pages of a site they host. They were of course reported to their country's legal authorities.
And as for ferguslogic, laugh all you want. Just because you had issues doesn't mean our whole service is bad. We have terminated many people recently in a general server audit and I'm not suprised to find new people signing up and trying to make us look bad.
Our commitment to support and customer service is right up there with the best and I feel pretty sick even having to defend myself against such filth.

NexDog 03-11-2006, 07:26 AM Thanks Licantropo. The data center we use (FortressITX) had a major power outage which resulted in some downtime on 90+ servers. But we've received unparallelled service from then for the last 3 years so it's easily forgiven. :)

fergus, was your emails about downtime on an account you used to have with HostNexus?
I haven't seen many complaints about downtimes with them here.
Kimkia 03-20-2006, 02:34 AM I've been with HostNexus for a few years now, and I find them to be honest in their dealings with customers. Yes, there have been downtimes, most at the same time that other reputable hosts get taken down...and you'll find NexDog on these boards at such times, being very upfront about the trouble to HostNexus and his efforts to fix.
There's nothing hidden with HN, and you can lurk or join their forums for specific answers to your questions from HN customers.
swflnetworks 03-20-2006, 04:27 AM I'm not nor have I ever been a customer of HostNexus, but I've always found them to be reasonable and very quality of a provider.
And that's a hard thing to say about a competitor :)
