Hi we have been using option cart for awhile.

I am ready to move to something better.

This is the requirements

It must have product options. So we cant set the option and the customer can enter text for personalized products.

I would like it to be easy to admin and easy to skin to our present site.

I have looked at the following

Digishop really like but doesn't have the text option and may be too pricey to be custom made

In-commerce Admin interface a little harder to use.. Not sure how to skin

cs-cart looks ok Not sure how to skin

x-cart looks ok Not sure how to skin

ckgold looks ok Not sure how to skin

If any one has any suggestions

Search for Quick Shopping Cart on Google if you're ready to pay about $10/mo.

If you want a easy to skin cart look at www.jshop.co.uk - it's the easiest to skin that I've found, plus the software is very flexible with the output.

definately oscommerce if you want easiest to skin

for x-cart you can buy templates.

most of the others you have to skin yourself

I guess from looking I am going to have to skin most of them myself.

I have been test driving

cs-cart ---->which looks a lot like x-cart
in-commerce
ckgold

I have used oscommerce before and it just really wont give me the options i need with out a contribution.

Cube cart and zen cart looked ok put the product options are hard to use and understand I wont be the one maintaining the site.

I dont mind paying up to 500 for a store but I dont want to pay 50 and up for hosting that is why I am looking for a store I can host.

osCommerce is not the easiest to skin, IMO.

Have you tried cpCommerce (http://www.cpcommerce.org)?

I took a look at it but I didnt see text or text field as a option in the product.

Has anyone used cs-cart or In-commerce ?

Yes, there is the option. If you login to the admin demo at http://demo.htsdesigns.com/cart/admin, click on "Add Product". At the bottom you will see an option for "Custom Fields". Click on "Add New" next to it and you will see the option to add text boxes and text areas. You can add as many as you need.
