Hello,

Im wondering where I can...

1. Download free font packages. Since I have a slow modem, I would want to be able to download multiple fonts in packages if possible.

2. Where do you get your fonts from? Im not looking for free, but is one font CD better than another?

Thanks, I appreciate it :)

You might want to check out Font Freak (http://www.fontfreak.com).

:pimp: Free is good; right?

Fontalicious (http://www.fontalicious.com) is where it's at, baby!

I also like the fonts at Gray's Graphics (http://www.orange.ne.jp/~den7/index.html).

Couldn't find any packages on those sites. I have a cable connection, but I just don't like browsing through heapss to find the right font. I'd rather some bulk package too, anyone?

torgny.net (http://torgny.net/) has huge font packages...although I don't think 37 megs on dialup would be good

If you rather get a software package instead of going through millions of fonts online - your local computer store will most likely have those 2,000 font collection type software... like

alpha, i'll see how this one goes for now, I don't feel like going *all* the way to a computer store. :D

not sure if you were looking for something free or anything but...

http://www.fonts.com

Take a look at the fonts categorized as 'Monotype' - I dunno, maybe it's just me... but I consider some of them as being professional. they are not free tho...

I think I have this one, free with rebate thingy. I use it so often I had to make sure I actually did have this one. IMHO not the most wonderful and one can find better elsewhere...
