yeah this is the lot that ripped the text verbatim off our companies site for their last advert on here.

josh i suggest you contact me on richy@futurehosts.co.uk to start settling this matter and avoid any further legal action as this is the desireable route for all concerned. you used text from our site , copied directly with the only amendment being the amount of space offered, for your advertisement. im currently awaiting the backup copy of your site from chris before finally deciding what action to take but after taking legal advice i can confirm you are at fault. i suggest you contact your local citizens advice to confirm your own situation and also contact myself so we can resolve this promptly and with the minimum of fuss.

pctwist commenting on a thread as you have is not considered professional.

Them using an AOL address is fine, it shows they want to work directly with you and also shows they are not hiding.

Actually, I would disagree Samuel.

Using a Free Email address is not professional -- especially when one has their own Domain Name for a business site -- and the link provided ("http://www.CryDez.co.uk" under the "WWW" profile link) is not valid.

I am only presuming here, but the above seems to give good evidence that a "scam" or something "just not right" is going here. It's obvious that "CryDez" has not thought out some aspects of advertising or running a business, in a correct and professional manner.

I understand, I think at this point he has corrected the profile information as I just visited his site via his web page link.

Maybe there were some propagation problems as I noticed "CryDez.co.uk" now redirects to "CryDez.net" If it was just now though, that the problem was corrected, then everyone using the link -- previous to today/now -- would have gotten a Web page that never loaded. Hence, the thoughts such as what was posted previously.

In my haste to post I somehow associated AOL with HotMail. I just didn't see why, someone who has their own Domain Name and can use whatever Email address they want with it, would choose to use someone else's Domain Name.
