bodhisattva 03-06-2006, 08:57 PM download link is/was working here.
did something go wrong at the other datacenter location? my server hasn't been and can't pull down speeds anywhere near that. actually, its been pretty slow for quite some time now. downloads averaging 5-10kb/s.
i attempted to livechat on your site, but have been rejected. i sent in a support ticket a few minutes ago, as i'm really curious as to why the speeds have diminished.
anyways, maybe I will cancel the other server and just get a new one with this deal. is that possible, or are there going to be problems with that?
kindda slow .. ~30kb/s and steady decreasing ..

HostFresh 03-07-2006, 04:14 AM Sure check you PM Check thrugh california and pakistan also
Just checked your traceroutes, you're getting good speed from pakistan (100K+/sec) and bad speed from california, what I found is the california server you're using is under pure cogent network, that might be the reason why it's slow. :)

Currently we don't have any Althon or Barton servers available. We do have Opteron's, however they're much more expensive as their cost is higher, if you need a quote, please feel free to drop me a email at sales [at] hostfresh.com, thanks!

NE-Andy 03-07-2006, 05:16 PM 35.8Kb/s from university gigabit line.
Campus blocked pinging of a lot of routing nodes, so it'll be best if you tracert sfu.ca from your server.
Getting data from campus isn't problematic as I was pulling 1.5mb/s from dreamhost and 2.2mb/s from theplanet just before I tried the speed test posted.
That's nice, would you mind to send us the traceroute?
14 hops. I've PM you with details.

david92003 03-08-2006, 09:17 PM I have exactly the same question.
Could the price increase after several months?

Hello,
We've got 1 server left, so be hurry if you'd like to order, it's a dedicated 10Mbps line, but is also depend on both transit and the user's ISP.

david92003 03-12-2006, 10:21 PM Hi, Hostfresh,
PM you twice, but did not get feedback, so it might be better post here for you take a look and give me an answer.
I have two questions before I pay.
Will you provide paid server management and how much it will cost?
You said unmetered bandwidth, actually, there must be some limit, what is the upper limit in your mind? I do not want to get my website suspended because so much bandwith used after I put so much time on moving the site to your server.
Thank you!
david92003 03-13-2006, 05:35 AM I got PM already. Thanks Hostfresh.
