I need a programmer to help me with a fairly interesting project. Basically people will be able to upload photos and it will have to do a facial recognition check and see who they look like etc.

Do you have facial recognition algorithm, which could be ported. Then i can help you with. Other than else its seems little hard project to start with.

Unfortunetely I do not. All I have at this stage is an idea.

Sounds very interesting but doing facial recognition is not an easy process.... unless you can get some code from somewhere else it could literally take hundreds of hours to create. You will need to find someone with a very strong background, even then it might be difficult!
Best of luck though, could be a cool project!

Its more than just programming in order todo such a project, its one hell of a huge task and I think you'd need a fairly large wallet in order to get the job done.

Yeah, I would definetely need to get the facial algo from somewhere else. This idea is probably to big for me at this time :(
