Is anyone using it, what are you thoughts & comments?

I use SWsoft's Site Builder. It's not the best but it has come a long way since version 1, now at version 2.1.2 ...

You can do some decent flash intros and there is paypal intregration. There is also a forum module which is very lite weight.

As far as administering it, it's pretty painless. There is a DB backup function and there will be an auto updater shortly.

Oh yeah, they just added resellers ability. So you your resellers can manage their customers and such..

It gets the job done. I agree that it is much improved in version 2. I have it running on Windows and Plesk offers a free license until September. Sweet.

I think that it still needs improvement, though, as far as the ability to edit pages, etc. I also think the ergonomics of the interface needs to be redone to be more user friendly.

Overall, it's worth it if you need it for a web hosting addon application for your customers.

the sitebuilder itself looks amazing, what about integration with billing system and with automatic account creation?

There is an API for the sitebuilder, but we don't utilize it at the moment.

For the automatic account creation, use the Site Builder remote admin. It basically creates a button for the new user and they can click it and start creating their site. The only thing is you will need to log into your sitebuilder as admin/root and grant the user publishing rights.

What I am looking for is for some sort of billing / account creation integration. Something like:

User signups
User pays
User's account is created
User is able to create & publish site
When user stops paying his account is deleted

I would like to have suggestions as well - inherited plesk dedicated server and would like to resell space on the box

I have not used plesk... do you reccomend it?

does anyone have knowledge of integration of sitebuilder with billing software?
