If you are able to attract new business while holding on to your existing clients, you will be very successful. Laws 03-03-2006, 03:03 PM Confused since all the items listed in the poll need to be looked at. We have custom reports for all areas of our business to ensure everything is running smoothly :) The critical report that hits my desk features details on issues opened/closed and response/resolve times, accounts opened/closed and a few revenue figures. HostingOne-Jeff 03-03-2006, 07:50 PM While price is an important factor, I believe that great support can be a selling point. Regards, Jeff Wickenheiser Xoopiter-Jeff 03-03-2006, 08:37 PM Support is our number one concern followed by marketing. We want people to see we offer good support especially for a free service. Cheers Jeff Aussie Bob 03-04-2006, 12:22 AM I focus on all the areas of business, be that sales, support etc. You can't focus on just one area. You need to have all the bases covered. I've always looked at my business as a boat, with paying passengers. The passangers pay me to provide them with something, and their happiness is my responsibility. I'm the Captain at the wheel, and steering the business through the waters ahead. Sometimes you have to make course corrections, and adjust your ship's navigation. That's all part of being the Captain, on your journey. You have to know where you want to go - your goals etc. You can't just be sailing out in open sea with no direction or vision. I have a vision of where I want to take my current business, and each day that destination draws closer . . . . crystaltracks 03-04-2006, 02:23 AM Great Aussie Bob ...so which goals do you measure for your success and how do you do this? Are you using any tool for measuring your goals? vbmenu_register("postmenu_3712414", true); TheCyberHost 03-04-2006, 03:33 AM Definitely customer retention. As long as our customers stay with us, I know we'll continue to add more and grow. Aussie Bob 03-04-2006, 03:57 AM Great Aussie Bob ...so which goals do you measure for your success and how do you do this? Are you using any tool for measuring your goals? Customer retention, new accounts etc. I don't need any tools to know how well the business is progressing. Each business owner knows, or should know. AcuNett 03-04-2006, 04:12 AM Customer retention definitely. Revo.In 03-04-2006, 04:36 AM I agree with Aussie Bob. Customer happiness is the criteria on judging how you are progressing. But I don't think that a company's progress is determined by how many signups they have. That depends on marketing. Its how happy your customers are that counts. You can have a 1000 customers, but if they aren't happy, are you successful? Definitely not! So customer satisfaction (& maybe account cancellations, if any) are the criteria for me. |
