We are hoping to launch a business web site portal on April 1st, 2006.
We would like a script built to do the following for us by March 17th so we have time for testing, development, etc.
This web site is to provide city residents with a complete listing of all businesses and their web sites. Basically, a link directory with some added features.
The visitors to the web site will only see listing - there will be no way for them to request to be linked on the site, so no automatic submission aspects have to be built in.
We will handle the back-end administration work ourselves when adding listings, but will need a backend integrated into the script.
So far, we have determined that each listing will have the following:
- company name
- URL
- local telephone number
- fax number
- toll free number
- link to coupon (or display "no" if no coupon available
- etc.
We will need the script to be module so that other areas can be added in the future when required.
Our complete list of requirements is not complete yet, but this is a basis. We will have the list complete within a few days to supply to the chosen developer.
In the end, we want a script that we can log into as admin and add a company to any category (unlimited categories and sub-categories) - upload a coupon if available.
We would prefer the script to be PHP based with a database in MySQL, but are open to ideas and options.
Payment (for you) options will be discussed privately.
