ebgcsay 03-02-2006, 04:44 PM I've used it as a client and it is simple and easy to use.
Sohan 03-02-2006, 05:32 PM Nice and easy to use. Great, but try cerberus and supporttrio as well before you make your choice.
Oh, and as far as i'm aware, you can buy it directly only.
cedced 03-02-2006, 07:17 PM It's can reply support by email, I like that !

There are a few people who offer the licenses :)
One thing to note is that quite a lot of people have issues with support (not responding, or, not offering helpful responses) or that it takes over a week from paying for the license to being able to actually use it. You might want to read their forums and look at user’s complaints before you jump in.
If you do want to purchase it, I'd recommend going through a reseller. For some reason, they seem to get their licenses activated within a day or so and also often offer support themselves (so if Kayako stops talking to ya, you could go to them).

cjscott69 03-03-2006, 09:30 AM We've been using Kayako for about two years. It is nice until you need support from them which is too slow, IMO. When the software you use to provide quick support has a problem, waiting one or more days for a response from your vendor is not a good thing.
From recommendations made in another recent thread, we are almost finished with moving to SupprortTrio. I had a chance to use their support yesterday for our trial installation. They have a special support request area for trials and they note that the response may be delayed since paid clients get priority. It took them about 20 mins. to get back to us and the issue was resolved with another round of replies shortly after that.
That is what support for a critical function of your business should be like.
cedced 03-04-2006, 01:01 AM Kayako can translate to another language ?
LoganNZ 03-04-2006, 02:43 AM IMO cerberus is much better. Yes kayako has a nice simple WUI, but the cerberus gives a lot more information.
Don't invest tooo much in a support system....
AcuNett 03-04-2006, 03:15 AM Kayako's reseller system is not completed yet.
We've had experience with both Kayako and Cerebus. Kayako is a much more efficient system.
mrzippy 03-04-2006, 05:25 AM We're just waiting for www.intellodesk.com to create a conversion script, and then we'll be using intellodesk for our helpdesk.
Very nice script - missing a few features, but it is actively developed and probably not long before it can compete head-to-head against supporttrio and ekayoko.
:)
Ariel74 03-04-2006, 07:45 AM I tried Kayako, Cerberus, and SupportTrio. ST wins hands down for me, for both the quality of the software as well as the great support provided by ActiveCampaign.
Sohan 03-04-2006, 09:36 AM I've decided to buy Support suite owned. I find kayako very good.
talkwebhosts 03-07-2006, 08:11 AM After reading the complaints about Kayako's support, I think I am leaning towards SupportTrio. I am willing to give another company a chance, that actually seems to care about the customers they have.
