1. Is it possible to create ONLY EMAIL BASED PACKAGES without any other web hosting features in WHM? If yes, how does one go about it... leave all other features inactivated and just activate a specific number of POP3 email accounts?

2. Is it possible to specify the number of forwarders in WHM too?

3. Also, do most of you offer a fixed amount of space and bandwidth for such packages OR just a limitation on the number of POP3 accounts?

4. Is email bandwidth consumption included in the bandwidth consumption by most web hosting companies?

5. Are such only email based packages in demand, or would it be a good idea to ignore such packages and offer standard web hosting packages?

Any other suggestions or advice regarding setting up or the wisdom of offering such ONLY EMAIL BASED PACKAGES is welcome too.

Thanks in advance.

By default you cann't, but if you insist, you can make a new /scripts/wwwacct removing the sections which create the web account and call this new wwwacct when you need to setup an email-only account.

By default no. But again if you really want it I am sure it could be done if you dig deep in the code

Cpanel now allows setting quotas for email accounts, but I think it makes more sense to limit the number of accounts rather than limit the bandwidth.

4. Is email bandwidth consumption included in the bandwidth consumption by most web hosting companies?

Yes. It's already included in the number you see in WHM for bandwidth usage.

Yahoo! offers 100MB email account for $9.99 per year! I dont' think there's much room for profit there for an average web host.
My guess is that it would make sense to maybe throw in 2-5 MB of web hosting with it to attract more customers.
