We rely on webmail to check our email. For some reason, an imap error has had us locked out of email for over 24 hours now and this is getting to be a BIG problem.

I'm not sure what information you need so feel free to request more details.

I do have a server tech and I do have ThePlanet looking at this, but no one knows what they're doing it seems.

Is IMAP running? Can't you try to restart IMAP service?

Dave, this is much more then imap not running, I think. Unfortunately I'm an idiot with nix and only go from what I've been told.

- Problem has been occurring randomly for past couple months
- Usually only locked us out of sent-items
- Now locked out of inbox
- Standard cPanel setup
- No database being used
- CPanel's internal webmail behaves in exact same way

Does it show anything in que through WHM?

Has this issue been resolved? If not, feel free to contact us/post. We use IMAP as well, what mail-server are you using? do you have root access to the server?

The issue is now fixed. Sorry I didn't update the thread, but I was speaking with the person who was helping me :)

Can you tell us where this actually came from ? Just to know, maybe for further problems ;)
