I'm having a problem with a client's website taking a very long time to load. It appears to stem from the user's meta tags. Particularly meta keyword tags. If I remove the meta tags, the page loads fine. What could be causing this? I've been trying to load the site for 30 minutes now, and nothing's shown up. But if I take the meta tags out, it loads in less than 10 seconds. Anybody experienced this problem before?
Thanks

Check to see that teh meta tags are valid.
That is that all starting quotes are closed adn more importantly that teh tag itself is closed. It's amazing sometimes just how much trouble a missing < and/or > can create.

I believe the Meta tags are all close, and proper. The ones I have checked have been, but there are several sites on our servers experiencing this.
Our servers have been experiencing a DOS attack, which seemed to coincide with a planned server upgrade on all of our servers. Could the meta tag situation be caused by network administrators trying to block the DOS attack? This problem just seems so strange, thats about all I can think of.
