I am looking for a panel with a billing module. I know the separate billing systems such as modernbill work great with some panels but would really like to save the overhead of buying a separate billing system.

Some one point me in the right direction.

To be honest, if you can't afford the $9.99/month for something like www.ubersmith.com, then you should really rethink your business plan.

A good billing solution is critical to success of your business, and is not something you should skimp out on...

There are several low-cost scripts, such as whmautopilot.com, whoiscart, lpanel.net and I believe www.clientexec.com gives a 50% discount if you have a competitor software.

All of them are cheaper then modernbill, but if you go with a modernbill license *reseller* you can get a MB license even cheaper.

If you want something free (not recommended at all), then try something like "phpcoin"... although it kind of stinks.

We use ClientExec and love it. Great cPanel automation, the enom API works flawlessly, as do the payment API's we have used.

Like mrzippy said, you really don't want your billing software to feel, look, or perform poorly.

Save overhead? It's a couple hundred bucks at most.

I'd recommend Modernbill.

Hsphere has a builtin billing module.

Your time and your staffs time might be considered overhead. So having a control panel with a billing system might end up saving you more money in the long run then purchasing and intergrating a billing system on top of a control panel.

Either way make sure it all fits your needs and wants. Don't pick it just because it has billing intergrated.

ClientExec is pretty good. Also, if you are a reseller, many hosts will give you ClientExec for free.

I just bought ClientExec last night, and I'm uploading it now. I heard very good reviews about it, and I hope it will help me out in the feature, and I hope my clients will like this change from WHMCS.

WHMCS is VERY good, however, for the past month, I have been getting reviews that the client login is very bad. So I just bought ClientExec, because I have heard its very nice.

Hosting Controller (http://hostingcontroller.com) would be a very good option. They also offer free evaluation of their product, and as far billing system is concern... its a very useful module and offcourse comes free, the billing system features rich and stable.

If your after cheap stuff, but want loads of features, use clientexec.

If your going to spend, then modernbill and awbs is what you want.
