We are launching a multiplayer Skill games wager site. And we need a merchant account and gateway or something like paypal to allow players to upload money etc.. we have been looking for two weeks and cant find anything, all the one's we have looked at seem to have bad reports such as merchsolutions.com/

we are in the UK, but we also have people in the USA.

Pleas let us know if you are using a merchant account that would be good for our website

regards
Jacoub

Did you do a search of this forum (top right) for gambling, gaming, games, wager...whatever? There have been several posts.

yea, I have done a search on high risk and gambling, I have contacted most of the merchant account only not to get accepted because they don’t support skill games only casino's.. The 1's we did get accepted by have bad reports and really don’t want to go with them.

Will this be a new business with no past history?

What exactly is a wagered skill game if not poker, casino? (sorry for my ignorance) lol

Is it gambling or "gaming"? There is a big difference here. If you have people in the United States - with a SSN / Driver's License and it is just gaming - getting a merchant account should be a bit easier.

cheapies - Yes, no post history. and skill games is games like pool played online with players betting against each other. we are thinking about installing a casino software if this will get us accepted.

Corey Bryant- we have people in the USA but would prefer a UK marchent account.

I think most would also ask you if you have a license to do this.

There's very strict rules on gambling and you do need a license if you are going to be handling the bets through your site.

look into Safecharge I know that they are very good with managing the risk for gaming merchants.

for US you can check it with www.loudcommerce.com, I usually come across with good reviews of this payment system.
