What do you mean? I have customers in many, many countries and it works fine.

Do you mean you have to be a US merchant to use it? Maybe, I'm not sure. Authorize.net doesn't provide a merchant account, it's just a payment gateway.. you have to obtain the merchant account somewhere else.

Go for 2checkout then. We use them and they work great. Thinking of switching over to BluePay however.

It depends on what country you are located in. Authorizenet.com - is only an electronic payment gateway mainly for United States merchants. You will still need a merchant account as well.

WorldPay - I have not really kept abreast with everything they offer, but they used to offer third party solutions and also started to offer merchant accounts as well.

If you are in the United States and plan on doing more than $1,000 a month, 2Co would not be a good solution in the long run.

If you have a problem with chargebacks, you need to address that... NO solution is going to be "good" if your customers are doing a lot of chargebacks.

Chargebacks are a different story altogether. Remember you are using another company's merchant account to accept credit cards on your website. They are protecting their merchant account.

If you can, get a merchant account with an electronic payment gateway. We have been using Loud Commerce (http://www.loudcommerce.com) for quite some time now. They have been fantastic.

Worldpay has integrated Verified by Visa and MasterCard Securecode so you are protected for some transactions from fraudulent type of chargebacks.

If I could I'll like a true merchant account for more flexibility.

Authorize.net (AIM) work only with USA
LinkPoint / YourPay (API)

These three:
Authorize.net (AIM) work only with USA
LinkPoint / YourPay (API)
VeriSign (Payflow Link)

are electronic payment gateways mainly compatible with US merchants. Some MAPs will support merchants in other countries as long as they have a United States presence. They will support your customers though - no matter where they are located.

If you are not located in the United States and World Pay will support you, you should check them out
