Hey al, I am looking for a company to get a merchant account from, so that I can accept creit card payments more readily. I used 2Checkout a long time ago and WILL NOT use them again! Anyone know of another good merchant provider?

There's quite a few out there, I use Bluepay which works very well and integrates with Modernbill, also there is CDGcommerce which is very nice as well, which can use the Authnet gateway, which can integrate with most billing systems.

Its really up to how much volume your going to have and what your wanting to spend on having a merchant account.

I guess this would depend if you're looking for a 3PP like 2CO, or a full merchant account. I use CDGCommerce with Authorize.net and I'm pleased, but I also had a very good experience on discussing my options with a rep from Echo-inc, so I'd strongly consider them also (their rates were better actually anyway).

It depends on what country you are located in. Authorizenet.com - is only an electronic payment gateway mainly for United States merchants. You will still need a merchant account as well.
