I run a ninche gaming site for a game Lineage2 and get roughly 550 unique visits a day and 1500 page hits accross my entire site.

I currently just started (as in yesterday) running adsense but noticed I am getting a lot of targeted ads I dont want (such as for sites that sell in game items / accounts for money). I don't want to spend the effort to block them due to the complexity.

I am curious to know if there are other good advertisement ventures I can approach. I know my site is not very high traffic, but I am still curious.

I think Yahoo has something like Adsense now. You could try that.

adsense is the best out there so you should at least give it a try and block certain key words

Well so far I have contacted FaskClick.com, Burst Media, and Mamma Media.

Any other banner based solutions?

I've used Clicksor.com for almost a year now, and they have been decent. The pay is generally lower than the other ad companies, but they pay every 15 days which is their strongest trait in my opinion.

It seems like Google Adsense disables a lot of accounts even if they are generating legitimate revenue.

All ad networks disable accounts if people don't follow their TOS. You might hear more about google because so many use it. It is very successful if you use it wisely :)
