We are going to do some host search advertising. I would like to hear any experiences people (hosts) have with advertising including showcases and banner impressions.

They're pretty reasonably priced for the number of click-throughs they get. kunal 05-08-2002, 06:38 PM Originally posted by Travis For what it's worth, I've been very pleased with the results from their showcase listings. I actually did a search however got so many results that I thought it would just be easier to post a question. It's not hurting anyone is it? kunal 05-08-2002, 07:15 PM Originally posted by netsolutions I've been here long enough to know about the search option. It's not hurting anyone is it? no, its not hurting anyone... but repeating the same topic over and over again reallly doesnt make sense or server any purpose... its really rediculous... Well I just did a search and found some results on this but a upgrade once in a while on the standing would be nice. Otherwise there would be no new posts considering every single topic that was posted in the past 30 days has been mentioned at least once in the past. Such as a host, two users post a thread trying to get some opinions on a host, they get good ones but two months from now if the host has gone bad, you wouldn't want them reading the old threads that contain old information. Just my two cents, Milun TopDog07 05-09-2002, 12:51 AM I.M.H.O., if you do a search you can find out some background on it. Also, the search results tell the date of the last post, if the results are nothing but old posts, then post a new one. And you can also search by certain dates as well. ;) Just my $0.03 :stickout netsolutions 05-09-2002, 01:04 AM Originally posted by TopDog21 I.M.H.O., if you do a search you can find out some background on it. This was much better than the 2% we got on a couple of other sites. Only reason for us leaving is that we are testing several services at the moment to find the best for us. |
