For the past 2 days the my server's been down and wonder if anyone else here is using them and if your server is down.

I checked their site out serverrack.net and it's not coming up. Might be my connection from my location to theirs (Virginia).

If you use them is yours down as well.

Thanks.

P.S. It's starting to piss me off! I can't have my RAQ down too often and have to keep an eye on it and re-route the DNS to a backup site and have mail lost.

my RAQ has been up and running perfectly fine.

from what i know, they were working on a router or doing some subnet work or something a few days ago that caused one of my IPs to be down for a few minutes. but, other than that, i have had no problems. i think serverrack has had some of the best uptime i've ever experienced with a hosting company.

and i've had some great speeds from europe since being with them!

perhaps try a tracert to them from your connection. it could be something en route from your connection...

I've done trace route and such and goes fine till it hits their network.

It would be @ pcetailer 65.170.79.* area.

It wasn't just 1-3 ips. It was a block of them, the entire one. Including their own site was down for full day.
I use InternetSeer and DSLReports that tracert/pings my server every few minutes and it shows downtime and such.
Hourly/Daily/Monthly Graphs... I also used Visual Route from 3 different continents.

It might be that they are adding new lines? Speed went up a little via FTP download I noticed. I am backing stuff
up and I got about 250K download on 2 instances @ the same time.

I am up and running as we speak... My Email settings via DNS are re-routed through another server in case the server(s) crash again I won't loose any email. So I am not using POP via my RAQ but I am re-routing the MX_ to another web hosting company I use.

hmm. i am getting through the pcetailer hops perfectly fine, in between 112 ~ 130 ms, from europe. that's strange.

perhaps give mike/ed an email or support@serverrack.net.
