I was just wondering if it is still true that you have to reach 500 posts before being able to modify your own custom title? The reason I ask is because I've noticed someone that has what appears to be a custom title yet their posts are under 200. Not sure if maybe this means they are a new moderator or ???

I'm not trying to make something out of nothing. I was just curious since I noticed this and when I tried to get to that option in my profile, it's not even available.

:D Actually yes, I was. I had some really long custom title. Did yours somehow stay the same? That does make sense that it would have been done around that time. Just odd that it didn't go back...

TopDog21, how do you have a custom title? I think you still have to reach 500 posts to change the title.

On April 1st 'BC' (a moderator) went and played a bit of a prank changing some user titles for the fun of it. It seems that some, if not all of them, got to keep the new titles.

In general I think the 500 post rule still applies. As you can tell that post count has applied to me in a while so I don't know if the goal posts have been moved at all :)
