Hi everyone. I'm not new to this board but this is the first time I've ever posted. I've been reading a ton and can't seem to find a good solution to my current problem.

I have been selling on ebay off and on for the past 5 years or so and using Paypal to process my payments. I am having more and more complaints with Paypal and it is time to get an actual merchant account.

I really liked Paypal for the fact that they didn't charge me anything if I didn't use them to process a payment. There are some months that I don't have any sales. The average month I probably process $1000-2000 and a high month $5000-8000.

What merchant account providers are out there that don't have high monthly fees? I care less about the discount rate because I like that they only charge me when I'm making money.

If anyone has any advise, please reply to this post. THANKS

Thanks, darkstorm, for the reply! I primarily sell electronic and computer items. I see that the website you provided says that I have a high risk business. Is that true for the entire industry? I don't see how selling a tangible product is high risk... THANKS

Even if you are listed as running a high risk business that doesnt mean you wont be approved.
And selling computers and such could be considered beying a high risk business since all the people using stolen credit card info will go for big stuff like laptops, PDA's and any electronic producs because they are easy to sell.
