So what do you guys think?

Anyone try it yet?

Will most providers continue to put rh on the servers?

Its never a good idea to start using the newest version of any OS the month it hits streets, theres always bugs and holes found, plus look like half the stuff new in 7.3 is for consumers anyhow.

We will stay with 7.2 for now.

I hate RedHat.. and Mandrake linux (the last version looks better than winxp but so slow (good for end users)).
RedHat is Linux for end users and ISPs and providers choose only because of RPM (because you don't need to compile and package installation takes less time than in windows), and of course for support from RedHat.
I have FreeBSD 4.2 on my home computer - everithing has been compiled by me and there are no binary packages and short BSD-type configs everuwhere - that's why I love BSD-type.
Slackware is also good for people who knows Linux well and want to compile every package and get real SPEED from system for free. But the most are end users and they choose RedHat. Actually RedHat made 7.3 because of some updates with KDE, GNOME, X-Windows, but GCC is still 2.96 <--- the worst GCC I ever seen
Don't flame on me, I just said my personal point of view.

I have it downloading now from a mirror at 200kb/s .. so I'll install it tonight and let you know how it goes :)

I tried Skipjack and it wasn't bad..but I stuck RedHat 7.2 back on - 7.3 was a bit buggy and a few things changed that I didn't like.

We are currently looking at it so we can offer it on demand with our servers.

Matt,
What mirror are you getting 200k at? Hook me up...it sucks at 15k and constant drops and timeouts. Thanks
