Stay far far away. Their pings times (nice large sample set of 120,000 pings from What's Up Gold) average 245ms from New York City (they are in London) and even 140ms when pinging from my London location.

They are CHEAP - like 4 bucks a month - but they are *easily* slower than molasses. That's not to mention that their server speed is very poor, so if you're running with something like a MySQL backend, you can kiss load times goodbye.

That's not to mention that the deal was unlimited bandwidth - I verified this via voice with them - but once I sucked up 1.5GB in a month, they cancelled my account and refuse to give me back the 5 months of pay-up-front that I have not used yet.

I can't even vouch that is the reason the account was cancelled - nobody will respond to my e-mail or return my calls. It sucks as I had a bunch of data that was not backed up yet.

Long story short, bad bad comany. Just a kid probably behind the desk with a decent looking website business wise.

Watch out, they too take money and run with it. You need to report them, as I did. Go tto the BBB and the carbon copy them the email and see where it goes...

Unfortunatelly their business is registered out of London. I'm not quite sure how the business works over there and frankly, for 70 bucks, I'm not sure it's worth my time to investigate further

Well I do understand, but in the end it is not about money. It is about respect and good business practices. Yes it takes a lot of time to work with reporting, but hey they took your money and ran with it. Even if it was only 5 bucks. It is theft of service and they can be reported to the BBB.

If you want to just search the net for some company that will report as the BBB does in London, but hey try BBB first. SO far they have helped me very well. The company I am reporting still has not responded and I am only out of $120 bucks. But money for me was not the problem, it is the headache of my site bing up and down. Even though it is my fault for wanting to my to anotehr hosting serivce. I should be able to trust a company that sells me service. Buy hey the world is not perfect and we all get what we pay for at times...

In the end guy, it is guys like you and me that make it much better for others as well as ourselves cause we know the do's and the dont's
