I hate to be the one to throw cold water when everyone else has spoken so highly of them, but I placed my order with your-site.com on a Wednesday; by the following Tuesday I still hadn't been set up, even tho their customer service told me I'd be set up by Friday.

Ah, well. Time to find someone else.

I think they had some problems with the bloke who owned the business dying. Search through groups.google.com and you might dig up some info. :)

Yes, Jason died. But back in Feb.
While God-bless him, the exuse is getting old.
Once they do set you up, I have find the service good for one of my many sites.
For 5.00 per month/hard to beat. Send them another e mail, wait a couple and then another. I found it always took them 2 days for me.

Two days was what they originally told me. At the end of the second day I sent an email asking if this was a normal delay or was there a problem.

I received an email back the next morning telling me they had a backlog but I should be hearing from them that day, Friday. They went on to say if I didn't hear from them by Monday, to get in touch.

On Tuesday I sent them an email asking to cancel my order. I may be too hard headed as a customer but I'll repeat what I wrote to them...if the customer service is this non-responsive when I'm trying to give them my $$, what's it going to be like when they already have it?

And not that I'm gonna have a bad day, but I then tried to sign on with Versehost. Their online order system consistently didn't work for me. Since I'm already in a bad mood, I won't even give them the courtesy of an email.

Think I'll go get a massage.
