Hi,

I just changed from webhost company.

My first host arranged for my domainname (and I am mentioned as the owner and am able to unlock, change account, etc. :) ).
My website has already been transferred to the new host, now I only need to change the nameserver I think. But how to go forward?

First add the new name servers and after it has propogated delete the name servers of my first host (hosting package ends at the end of March) or delete the name servers of my first host and add the new name servers from my new host and then wait for propogation. Please advice.

I have another question about a good registrat but I will post that in a separate thread.

You better use 'search' function. Thank you.

Do you have hosting with them or just the domain name

I have both at the moment, but switch for hosting to another company. I paid separately this year for hosting (per quarter) and domain name registration, so this should not be a problem.

You just need to login to your registrar (iPowerweb?) domain management panel and change the namesevers to your new host's dns servers. You can delete the old host's dns since you already had uploaded your website to your new host.

They use tucows, they may have a manage.opensrs.net interface to use
