The thread, "Rackshack supports spam?" has been removed for the following reasons:

If you get spammed, please report it to the provider, no matter who it is. The fact that spamcop has been notified has little bearing on anything.

venomx (John @ mechosting) then goes on to troll everyone in the thread about sending them and "all the emails at Rachshack I can find." This is simply unacceptable.

Then we have WizyWyg (no name, hotmail address) posting google groups spam reports of Rackshack and Rackspace. While this is wonderful, reports of spammers doesn't exactly make them guilty of anything and if you have a problem with them, please email them directly.

We go on to, "why is much of their netspace in SPEWS?" - you know what? Then use SPEWS and block the spam. End of story.

This continues with:
I don't know if RS its spam friendly or not, but certenly, they are very slow dealing with spammers, I keep getting (from 9 hours now) spam complains for an spammer in their servers.
I'm forwarding every single email with complains to Headsurfer, probably he'll feel now how anoying its to deal with this while his company do nothing.
While you can do what you want, my guess is that he just *might* not be the proper person to forward emails such as this to. He might be the one to contact about the problem, but let's be realistic here.

Finally we end with venomx (John @ mechosting) going on about how the people who disagreed 'like' spam and that spammers should be put in jail for x-years and big bubba...

Look people, I don't care what host you get spam from, how you feel about SPEWS, etc. There is a proper way to deal with these issues and it isn't to post a flame thread here.

Nobody like spam, no ISP likes spam, no host likes spam. The only people that like spam are the spammers who don't give a rat's donkey about filling your inbox with garbage. All hosts are not going to handle the problem the same way, some aren't going to handle it as well as others. Spam blocking lists may or may not be helping the situation, depending on how you look at it.

Anyway, threads and posts like that, regarding any host, will be removed. I'm sure there will be a few that will go on about some conspiracy and how this forum is owned by yadda yadda (the usual), however those who are sensible and who have been on this forum know how I moderate.
