Hello

I have a VPS with Plesk as control panel. The nameservers I have to use are controlled by my host and I can edit the zone files in a seperate control panel.

Can I stop the BIND service now? I think he's doing nothing on my server so why keep it running?

Or does the BIND service do more than just controlling nameservers?
