Hi, I recently installed apache (or tried to). I have everything extracted, but I dont see were the file to start apache is. I looked in the bin for apache, and nothing was there, I installed it under /apache... please help.. Sorry in advanced ;-) im a newbie 2 linux.

locate httpd

Some helpfull hints. But any linux box I've seen sticks the binary

/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start | stop | restart
