Hello. I'm looking for a flash developer who can modify an existing flash .fla file to preload external jpeg files.
Current situation: The flash file has a library of images which it preloads. It has two types of images it preloads. 1. thumbs 2. corresponding large images. There are always 18 thumbs and 18 images.
It is required that the flash preloads the thumbs from jpeg files on the web server instead of it's library. In effect, externalising it's image repository.
It is also required that upon clicking on the thumbs instead of currently loading the preloaded full image, that, the image is fetched from the web server and a preloader for the image is displayed while it is loading. It is expected that if the user views a full image previously, then no wait is required.
The filename of the thumb and full image will be provided in the form of a number. E.g. thumb.php?id=10, which will output a png 34x33, and fullimage.php?id=10 which will output another png. Further discussion will be required on how this can be done.
As you can see, it's not hard, or rocket science. Just someone who is decent at flash development can knock it together in one night.
Full source is required after development. including but not limiting all .fla & .as files.
Payment will be via paypal. After the developer has shown it is done, payment will be prompt. No messing around.
Developers who are unable to perform it, will not be reimbursed for 'trying'.
Solutions are only required, not half completions.
Talented developers may be asked to perform more work in the future if they show great skill.
Developer rate is to be discussed and agreed upon before development.
