But i don't know if both follow with good services, help me to decide in one of them please.:lovewht: stub 02-11-2006, 11:18 PM NameCheap seems to be very highly thought of in these forums, whereas there are a few disgruntled GoDaddy customers here. I'm new with NameCheap. They seem good. I like the fact that the privacy is relatively cheap and is not fixed to 1 domain (like most registrars) but can be switched between domains. I've no real big complaints at GoDaddy except that their admin panel can be awfully slow at times due to either, too many graphics, too many users, or slow servers. Their checkout is a bit of a pain as well. I've never had any other problems with them, although there are some here with bigger issues. I think you'd be happy with NameCheap. italiandragon 02-12-2006, 04:02 AM why do not choose ufficial accreditated registrars? alezhkin 02-12-2006, 04:43 AM try names4ever Scott 02-12-2006, 04:48 AM I have a ton of names at NameCheap and GoDaddy and other places for that matter and for value and management options I would go for NameCheap. stub 02-12-2006, 08:49 AM why do not choose ufficial accreditated registrars? Because there are many large accredited registars which can satisfy a domain owners requirements that it isn't always necessary to go with registrars who haven't bothered to take the important step of being accredited. There has been a trend in recent months that some of the larger resellers are taking the plunge to become registrars themselves. They recognise the importance of becoming an accredited registrar. italiandragon 02-12-2006, 09:55 AM Thanks for the explanation stu2 .....it`s a jungle out there :-) stub 02-12-2006, 07:01 PM You're welcome. That's why WHT is such a great place. We can share our own experiences and learn from others. All those companies trying to sell us services are not going to tell us how bad they are, are they? :) len fischer 02-13-2006, 12:40 AM why do not choose ufficial accreditated registrars? I think it means they are more serious, have more capital and have a better chance of staying around compared to resellers that need almost no money down to get started Icekeyboard 02-14-2006, 10:40 PM Go with the other one, I don't think GoDaddy is that great technanny 02-15-2006, 06:24 PM Godaddy, the other one is a reseller birdbird 02-20-2006, 12:00 PM I have many domain register with Namecheap.
