I'm looking in to credit card processing, and i've already got a few MAPs i'm interested in.

What I couldn't seem to find a direct answer to is this; do I need a shopping cart(OSC, zen, etc) to send info the the Payment Gateway?

I also wanted to ask what my options are without SSL.
