Hi,
Anyone know a free third party stats tracking service that doesn't require me to put a huge and ugly banner on my site?

I know bout HitBox, but they want me to show a banner on my site which I find both too big and too animated. I'd prefer something with a small and non-animated button....

Any suggestions?

I've been using YTrack (http://www.ytrack.com) .. Love it! :) No ads. :)

I use SiteMeter (http://www.sitemeter.com)

Just place a small box at the bottom of your site. Or you can place a counter. They don't put any ads.

Yes, YTrack is quite good. Especially with their promise...

I've been happy with their service.

Jessica :)

Why don't you install your own tracking script, we use pphlogger http://www.phpee.com It has everything, and a very good traffic monitoring tool

Well long time ago when we needed some statistics, but didnt wanted to show huge counters/banners, we just used the 1x1 pixel strategy, but heh it is illegal, you know ( bad, bad) and today we use webalizer :)

Not using this tracker anymore , since I just use my own server stats, but have used them for many years, they're great ;)

I use to use http://www.extreme-dm.com/tracking/ a fair bit, still do on some of my sites. I've always liked it.
