I have a site that has steadily grown over the past almost 6 years and for the past year it has consistently produced an average of 1.5 million page views a month from an average of 65,000 visits. Based on the growth trend we should cross over 2 million page views a month sometime this year from 75,000 - 85,000 visits. Those statistics are derived from Webalizer running on the server.

In the next few months we are planning to ramp up our sales effort and attempt to more fully sell our growing banner inventory. My question is, can anyone recommed a good 3rd party I can use to "verify" our traffic. I would like to do this to give my sales team an extra tool - the fact that we take the time and effort to have our numbers verified.

For starters, you could add one of the many free counters. Some of them provide very detailed statistics and your advertisers would be able to view this information on a third party site as well.

You might want to get on the list for when google analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) accepts more.
