Hello!

Anyone know where to find free squirrelmail skins? Or does anybody here create such things? I'm not able to pay anything..sorry...

Best Regards

There used to be a free skin going around, but it appears the site is no longer around (http://www.lovemyhost.com)... Perhaps someone has a copy / mirror of the site / skin?

It depends on what you want done, to do a "basic" modification of color and adding a logo bar to the top of the window is straight forward.

I have also went further and modified the login page to show a custom logo, not require the '@domain.com' and have a link to the email admin system (qmailadmin).

If you have a some free time and a little knowledge about PHP and HTML, you can most likely do it yourself. Otherwise any PHP programmer should be able to do this is a short amount of time.

There are a lot of plugins for squirrelmail, but I am not sure if any meet your needs, I would start there. Also if you do a search on sourceforge.net for squirrelmail you can find some other options.

I have installed every plugin, but it doesn't change the way SM looks. If somebody has a copy og nutsmail or something else, please PM me!

I don't think it's a good idea to ask people to message you a copy of Nutsmail, since you have to -pay- for it. In fact, it could land you in a lot of legal trouble.

It's only $25-35... that's really not much to make SM look a lot nicer! I'm still debating purchasing a skin, I have been for months... I just don't know since not many people use webmail, but they are just so nice looking!

Squirrelmail has most of it's styling/look hard-coded--it's extremely difficult to give Squirrelmail a "custom" look. So, changing it's look is a non-trivial, time consuming task. Keeping up with security updates is another matter as well.

Until the upstream Squirrelmail developers clean up their code (or accept patches to do so...) Nutsmail's cost is justified.
