Seems like it would be protected under the first amendment to me.

Well, the whole issue is about controversy, and if controversial sites are to be closed down, sites like iraqwar wouldn't even exists.

The sites that should be closed down are those which aren't controversies even. Like freechildporn.com, or deathtonegros.com etc etc etc.

"morally objectionable"

I am suprised to see Godaddy include this in their agreement since this is somewhat subjective.

You could argue that half of the FCC rulings are subjective.

Godaddy should do nothing. People should be allowed to criticize others freely. By shutting down web sites because someone is offended is ridiculous and will make Godaddy no different than the dictators in the Middle East or the communists in China.

People should learn not to be oversensitive or overreact. This is the age of the Internet where information is available freely. As long as the site does not incite violence or the killing of others, Godaddy should do nothing.

Freedom of speech and expression need to be protected. We cannot force others to believe what we believe.

If I am a Muslim I will be more offended by those foolish idiots who burned down embassies for tarnishing the image of Islam (if it really means "religion of peace" like what the media is telling us). Why? Because those idiots claimed to be followers of Muhammad and if they acted contrary to what Muhammad really taught then they committed graver error of misrepresenting Islam than those non Muslim carttonists. They are supposed to protest peacefully instead of destroying the properties of others. By behaving in such a way, they are only proving the cartoonists are right.

Oppressing freedom of speech will only benefit dictators in the Middle East. That is what the Syrian and Iranian governments wanted these people to do that is hating freedom of press, freedom of speech, and freedom of expression. They will tell these people that "Hey look, freedom of press is not good for you. Look what it had done to your beloved Muhammad." And these poor people will believe their corrupt leaders. These corrupt leaders will continue to be corrupted, because there is no one dare to expose them since there is no freedom of press.
