ok, it's been a month almost and i'm completely worn out and need some guru help.

after installing the OS2 + PHP4.1.2 update, of course my webalizer is dead.

i uninstalled the old webalizer and instantly tried the pkgmaster PKG. i followed the recommendation to remove the .current from the stats directories. the next morning. it ran fine, i was happy. the NEXT morning. no go. i go to run it manually, it tells me that webalizer had already run for the day, only, my stats page(s) never updated.

after not liking that weblizer was not working and wanting my stats to again be in /~stats/ rather than /stats/, i uninstalled the pkgmaster PKG, and installed the static PKG at the unofficial cobalt help site.

ok, so, install the unofficial cobalt site's static PKG. remove the .currents from all of the stats directories. the next morning. it runs fine. i'm sound as a pound.

again, the NEXT morning. no go. i go to run manually, it also tells me that webalizer has already run for the day.

so, to me, it looks as if webalizer IS running and collecting stats, only, it is not outputting to HTML. possible? also, i notice that missing from both PKG is the webalizer.conf file that i had with my previous version.

any ideas about that?

any help is appreciated!

Strange..but I have something similar...except that the MAY webalizer stats stopped on a raq with the latest webalizer.

other raqs we have are not running from the latest pkgmaster patch for webalizer and there has been no problems.

wierd wierd wierd.

another wierd problem.

I had the same problem,
it turned out i had to manually remove webalizer.current every time it had run, although i did not enable the incremental logging, so it is not suppose to even look for the webalizer.current file.

After a very long search i found out the date for my raq had been changed, this date (july 2004) was still in my logs, so after one run webalizer only looked for dates after july 2004.

Maybe a possibility ?

i only have 3 sites on the RAQ, 1 being extremely busy and having huge logs. for 8 months i was perfectly fine with the old webalizer. incremental was on, my logs were being rotated fine, and now this.

grrrr.

but yeah, my date is fine, i don't even have a webalizer.conf installed with the new PKG.

i'm tapped out. heh.

If you don't have a webalizer.conf in /etc, your incremental processing is now off (by default).

i guess you know this, but you never know ;)

ok, so i have now added / edited my webalizer.conf to turn incremental BACK ON.

we'll see how that goes, but, for some reason, i do not have high hopes.
