Our company has a policy of not hosting pornography, adult, or mature content. We've had a customer contact us asking if we can host a site that displays pictures of girls kissing girls. Would you consider this adult or mature content?

I'd say it depends how far it goes - if it's just a girl kissing another girl (a headshot photo for each pair of girls) I probably wouldn't call it either. You can find that sort of thing on any image upload site. (photobucket for example)

If it's a girl kissing another girl (multiple images of the same pair with progression) I would say that was probably "adult". If it goes any further than just kissing, it's definitely "adult" (including overall shots with touching)

In the end, everyone will view it differently so the classifications should really be your opinion.

Anyway I would say it's fine, as long as you say you don't host adult material and host it, that's fine. On the other hand if you are a Christian host and say you don't host offensive material, then this wouldn't be the sort of thing you wouldn't want on there.

Although most are technically in the first category I mentioned earlier - "I probably wouldn't call it either" and are not particularly offensive.
There's some that would be deemed offensive by some people , so it just moves into the "mature" category I think.
Definitely not "adult" or "porn" though.

Yes, definitely not adult or porn... but there is a mature theme going on in some of the pictures... those... nice... pictures. :)

Relatively it could just be related to as softcore porn. I mean I don't see any severe infringement to many customers, frankly due to the fact that one can see more "indecent exposure" on myspace. Just a thought.

I have removed the link. There's a bit too much going on there, with links etc, to be acceptable here.
