It appears there are many BuyDomains.com domains listed on Afternic.com.

I've read at many places that both companies are awful, I was wondering whether it would be slightly safer to purchase a BuyDomains.com domain via Afternic.com?

How well is their escrow service?

Anyone have experience with this subject matter?

I am also concerned about BuyDomains.com refusing to transfer the domain out of their registry.

its all owned by buydomains.com but list them everywhere.

you're safe to buy from any of them they all reputable companies :)

They have listed there too, but what I noticed is that they are selling in Euro currency, and when converted it is much more than USD. What is up with that?

Are they really reputable? I emailed both companies two times and never received a reply... it's been about a month. Maybe I should try calling them.

Web2k6 - They're all reputable. BuyDomains has a reputation for being a stickler about the price. Better to make an offer on Sedo/Afternic, imho. Afternic's escrow service works very well. It's a bit slow though. Sedo sell in $ as well as Euro.
