View Full Version : I am expanding from New York to Denver

I just had a 2 hour conversation with Chris Tibaldo from LightOne in Denver and we agreed to buy all his equipment (around 30 boxes) and Pipes (1 Cogent 100mbit and 1 Yipes 45mbit) and integrate it with my company in New York.

So there is going to be a "StarGate IT Systems Denver" which will be a branch of my main company "StarGate-eXscape Inc. New York" which currently houses all our servers (12 new sold boxes + 7 already existing).

The result and reason of this aquisition will be a huge dedicated server offer which will cover the high bandwith sector (10 mbit dedicated servers).
I am not going into details now as those belong in the Advertising Forum. I will release the first offers during the weekend.

I am very exited about this expansion as our next goal is to build our own New York-Denver backbone and sell bandwith like the "big ones".

I am very happy at the moment. This business is GREAT!

I am buying his equipment and Pipes. Not his company as such. This will be StarGate Denver. LightOne is officially history! ;)

I have been a customer of lightone.net for quite sometime now. I have been satisfied thusfar, sure there where problems at one time, but they where fixed promptly and without incident.

I don't know where people get that he /they should be carefull. He has been more than generous with his services, and goes out of his way to help me and others.

I am happy to hear of the merge, and hope for nothing for the best for lightone.net and staff.

I thought the whole reason lightone was declaring bankruptcy was because he lost his cogent pipes due to serving kiddie porn....?

ShareFile, I think you are a special guy who will do business right! Just because I have used both eXscape and LightOne services, but the outcome is I left them... and now they (or only their resources) both belong to you! (maybe only me who had the experience in using BOTH of them at WHT... hehe)
