Hello all,
I know this isn't a thread for here but I don't know where else I can find an answer.
Actually I want to sell my domain to my friend but I have no idea how to do such thing. Do you have any ideas? Could you tell me how to do that step by step?
Thank you very much!
P.S. I hope the mods. won't delete this message.:bawling:

Depends on what registrar you are using.

Your best bet is to contact Register.com and ask them how to change ownership of your domain. I never transfered a domain with Registar but I sold a couple under Internic now networksolutions.
Hope this helps,

I'm not familiar with their control panel, but you should be able to either:
Split this domain off into a new profile for your friend, or if this domain is the only one controlled by this username and password, just give him the password.
The owner information can then be changed in the domain record, and as far as the Registry is concerned, the new person owns the domain.
If you can't figure out how to do this using their control panel, ask their support group.
If you still can't get any help, transfer the domain to another Registrar who can help you.
Good luck. This should not be a difficult exercise...

hi there!
if register.com charges money to transfer ownership of teh domain name, the n you should have a look at cheapdomains.com
so you:
1. transfer the domain name to cheapdomains.com (pay 1 year reg fee)
then
2. transfer ownership of the domain name.
check it out!
