I'd like to get some input on what all of you consider to the the absolute maximum fair market price for bandwidth on a per GB basis.

The reason I need maximums is that I've caught a theif (a pretty damn sneaky and quiet one at that) who now owes me for several thousand GB of transfer... so I'm looking for absolute maximum published per GB prices from US providers. It's okay if those prices are for overages on package allowances.

Links to pricing pages would be very helpful.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly GoDaddy has pretty high overage charges.

Some prividers charge up to $10/GB for overages - industry average between $2 to $4 per GB - check ipower/lunarpages - they publish it somewhere

Since this is something that may end up in litigation, I can't really post specifics about the matter in a public forum. Once the issue is resolved, I will be happy to tell as much of the story as the law will allow (settlements generally come with a binding nondisclosure agreement).

Remember that you have to cover your costs when charging for overages. There's no point charging me $1/gig if it costs you $1.50!

We charge 3 x what it costs us for overage.
