After reading several issues with xreg, who im hosting quite a few domains with I want to move.

I want somewhere similar, i.e. I can pay using paypal and prices are similar. All im looking for is basically somewhere to look after the domain and registration as I use my own DNS servers.

Who do you recommend? as all I read about xreg is scarey stuff :(

Also would be useful if the new host had an API of some description that I could integrate into my own shop frontend :)

you might want to consider 123reg.co.uk though they don't have an API, For an Api you'll need to sign up for a reseller acount with godaddy/Enom/Onlinenic/tucows but they're not uk based.
