I would like to have a real estate DVD made, that should work on most home DVD systems.

The idea is make a selection of houses that are for sale.
In the main menu people should be able to choose a state and then select their city and then see a list of houses that are available.

Is this possible and do you have a estimate of how much it will cost?

It's very possible, but I can't even put together a rough figure of how much it would cost. It would depend all on the content, who you go with and how many copies of the DVD are made.

@ Pat H

Thank you.
Lets say all the content is provied and the production is done by another company.

So its the design of the cover and the menus of the DVD

In total 30 states
200 houses
Each house 2 pictures
Each state a 3min movie.

Alle content is provided. I just need a estimate.

Just a thought, but would you be able to keep up with the constantly changing list of homes? Getting a DVD made could take several days at the minimum I would think, and the inventory could be out of date very quickly. You might be better off making a live web-based system for your home inventory.

Most people that have a DVD player should have Internet access and could look up a website easier than going through a DVD.

I think this would be more cost effective than a DVD. There are some good scripts that you could use for creating an interactive site with the videos and everything you need to host.

Another idea: give the potential client a business card CD with a flash based menu that can direct them to your website with the live inventory.

Very good advice, and probably A LOT cheaper then using DVD's!
