I canceled my raq with them abotu a week ago (30 day notice) and the server went offline. They billed my credit card today for May. I went in their chatroom just now and they told me that i would have to email the billing department. I just asked if they could check and see if it needed a reboot or if it was pulled for the cancellatoin already. Their staff simply ban'd me from the irc server telling me that i would only be helped via email. 5 hours and no response to emails. Either way, they have the server, the data and the $100. I hope someone from TB/4webspace is reading this.

Odd... I have a similar experience. I send in my cancellation fax
about 10 days ago, with a request to cancel my RAQ by May.

I know that wasn't exactly giving 30 days notice - but hey, could
always try right? I asked if my cancellation could be confirmed by
email, this is what I got:

Your server has been set to expire at the end of this month (april)

thnx

Well it's May 3 now, and my RAQ is still live-and-kicking (though
I've moved all my domains off so I can only access it by it's IP
right now). I haven't checked with my CC company yet, but I
wouldn't be surprised if they charged me for $100 as well. Given
that I didn't really give them 30 days notice that doesn't come as
a big surprise to me - but then what is above email all about?!?

What's also weird is that above email didn't come from a @tera-byte.com
address but a @arzt.ca address, but from the Received headers I can
make out that it did originate from Tera-Byte...

Well... at this point my suggestion would be just sending
an email to billing@tera-byte.com

I did today and got this response within one hour:

Yes, Don't worry, your raq will be unplugged later today, you have not been
billed.

Thank you,
