Let's see if I can explain this right... I moved from one credit card transaction company to another so I can start using Authorize.Net...
The place I signed the merchant application with told me .25 + 1.75% per approved transaction... I then found out that Authorize.Net was charing me .05 cents per transaction (I assumed approved transaction) but they are charging me .05 cents for an approved, denied, batch, etc - Any kind of transaction.
This means if one day (never happen, but...) I had 20 denied transactions I'm paying 20 x .05 which is $1.00 ... Authorize.net will charge me $1.00 since they are transactions and all denied... But VISA is not going to charge me the .25 x 20 (or mastercard, etc) - Only if they are approved..... RIGHT?
