Does anyone know of a good reseller host that would be reliable, inexpensive (or at least have an inexpensive starting plan), give high bandwith, and offer a high range of plans, so that it would be easy to expand in the future? In other words, what is the best value out there when it comes to reselling?

It completely depends on exactly what your looking for. Buying a reseller plan is like buying a car. So many options therefore you should aim at something that meets your needs. For example, if you were on a low budget you wouldn't plan to buy a high end brand new BMW.

I'm looking for a host with a large range, starting plan cheap, but many options for upgrading. Kind of like ResellerZoom.

Check out the offers section and the 'find a host' option above. It would help other forumers give you suggestions if you let us know approximately what your requirements are. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

What kind of diskspace/bandwidth do you intend to use?

Are you looking for a host that is running CPanel, HELM, Plesk etc?

I think i'll just use HostingZoom. They seem good. Thanks though.

When I first started I used HostingZoom. Myself, I wasnt happy at all with their service, but if you search the forums you will find plenty of happy customers of theirs, and plenty of unhappy customers. Their servers were always overloading and dropping, and you always get the same reply as to why it happened>>" An account on the server was using up mass amounts of the server resources. You get that with low budget resellers, but we have fixed the issue". I got that response atleast 3 or 4 times in a month or so.
Starting out with a reseller is always your best bet, but if you can afford it, I suggest getting your own VPS or dedicated server.

They only overload the "budget" users. The more expensive plans hold up to 80% less customers. I would have chose HostGator, but they dont allow overselling :crying: ... to keep their reputation good.

I would go with ResellerZoom. I have very high traffic and server intensive sites hosted on one of their plans and it's holding up pretty well.

Are you a Budget, Avanced, or Premium user?

Do you have any requirements for the amount of disk space and bandwidth you need now? What control panel are you looking to use?

I would like cpanel. Disk space/bandwith... really does not matter as long as there are possiblities to upgrade to a high ammount. i currently dont need that much but may need to increase soon. Another reqirement is for the host to allow overselling, unlike HostGator. Mainly i'm looking for a host with a large range of packages.

I'm on their highest "budget" plan w/ a bunch of additional bandwidth/space that I paid extra for.

I chose ResellerZoom. I like their prices, they seem to be reliable, and their sales staff was very helpful. Their response time was fast and they answered all my questions well.

<edit>Dont read this.</edit> "Payment is due on the defined monthly recurring billing date of each month. All returned checks will be charged a $20.00 service fee." - ResellerZoom TOS. Does this mean that they charge $20 for each payment by check:crap:? That seems weird. <edit>Never mind. Asked their sales staff, but now cant delete this, lol. Sorry.</edit>
