I'm currently on ResellerZoom's budget three plan (120GB of BW). I would move up but the only upgrade is Advanced Three which is $60 per month! I might as well put money towards a dedicated server.

Can anyone suggest a high bandwidth reseller host? 5GB/200GB of bandwidth for $40ish? Is that even feasible...

I wish RZ would allow me to upgrade the BW for some sort of additional price...

Your initial asking offer is doable. However, I'd imagine you'd get kicked off for resource usage unless it was mostly as static html site style of reselling. Generally I've seen that anything over 100 Gigabytes is transfer moves up to VPS or dedicated server territory.

$60 a month for a dedicated server? Plus Add on a server admin...That was a joke right?

Why not go for a VPS?

Most of the time, it costs cheaper than a dedicated, and if you have an errant script/excessive cpu useage, you don't risk being suspended, as the only account being affected is yours.

And, most of the time, no need for server administration, as your host would probably do it.

My suggestion is going for a semi-dedicated solution, it beats paying the extra money needed for someone to manage your server.

Thanks guys, I will start looking into a VPS. I'm waiting on ResellerZoom's customer support department to upgrade my account by adding ~40GB of bandwidth. Their tech support team said I can pay for extra BW but unfortunately, their customer support department is open M-F and their tech support team can't do it :(.
